Bacon Weaves are the prettiest way to serve bacon & are so versatile! Place on avocado toasts, on waffles, BLTs…or even a fried egg! I created this for my Lobster Avocado Toast recipe. Or, just make it & eat it alone! There’s no such thing as too much bacon!
Recipe type: DIY & Basics/Breakfast & Brunch/5 Ingredients or Less
3 slices bacon per weave
nonstick cooking spray
Cut each slice of bacon in half. Lay 3 slices vertically. Fold up the middle slice on itself. Lay the fourth slice horizontally in the middle. Unfold the middle slice to lay over the horizontal slice.
Fold up the side slices on themselves. Lay the fifth slice beneath the middle slice & unfold the slices to lay on top.
Fold the side slices down on themselves. Lay down the sixth slice, then unfold the side slices on top of the sixth slice.
Preheat your oven to 400˚. Transfer the bacon weave to an aluminum foil-lined rimmed baking sheet...make sure you spray the aluminum foil with nonstick cooking spray to prevent the bacon weave from sticking. Repeat making weaves, one per person.
Bake the weave(s) for 20 minutes, until crispy & nicely browned.
Serve the bacon weaves any way you desire...my favorite way is with Lobster Avocado Toasts!
